Filler That Does More Than Fill

Radiesse occupies a unique position in the dermal filler category. It provides immediate volume correction like a traditional filler, but its calcium hydroxylapatite composition also stimulates your own collagen production for structural improvement that continues long after the initial correction. At INJX by NAT Aesthetics, Radiesse is selected when both immediate results and longer-term collagen building are the goal.

Structure, Volume, and Collagen in One Treatment

Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite filler that works in two distinct phases. Upon injection, the CaHA gel matrix provides immediate volume and structural correction. Over the following months, the CaHA particles integrate into the surrounding tissue and stimulate collagen and elastin production, creating a firmer, more supported result that outlasts the gel carrier as it naturally resorbs.

Why Choose INJX by NAT?

We offer Radiesse in Cranford & Morristown, NJ,, with every treatment tailored to your individual anatomy and structural goals.

Product Knowledge That Drives Better Outcomes

Natia Rufolo, FNP, NP-C, is board-certified through the AANP and consistently ranked among the Top 100 Aesthetic Injectors in America. Radiesse behaves differently from hyaluronic acid fillers, and using it well requires a thorough understanding of its properties, appropriate treatment areas, and how it integrates with the surrounding tissue over time.

Strategic Product Selection for Every Case

At INJX by NAT, Radiesse is recommended when its specific properties genuinely serve the patient's goals better than other available options. It is never selected as a default. Its firmer consistency and collagen-stimulating properties make it particularly well-suited for structural correction and deeper volume loss.

A Practice Built Around Long-Term Results

INJX by NAT's comprehensive, plan-based approach aligns naturally with what Radiesse offers. Providers here think beyond the immediate appointment, selecting treatments that contribute to ongoing skin quality and structural improvement rather than simply addressing concerns in the moment.

Our Nationally Recognized Providers Guiding Every Location

Both Natia Rufolo, FNP, NP-C, and Cassandra Austin, RN, are consistently ranked among the Top 100 Aesthetic Injectors in America. Patients receiving Radiesse at INJX by NAT benefit from that depth of nationally recognized expertise guiding every placement decision.

Where Radiesse Performs at Its Best

Radiesse is particularly well-suited for specific treatment areas and patient profiles. It is frequently recommended for:

  • Cheek and mid-face volume loss — deeper volume restoration that benefits from Radiesse's firmer consistency and structural support properties
  • Jawline and chin definition — structural contouring of the lower face where a firmer product delivers cleaner, more defined results
  • Nasolabial folds and deep facial lines — correction of deeper folds where Radiesse's immediate lift and collagen stimulation work together effectively
  • Hand rejuvenation — restoring lost volume to the backs of the hands, an FDA-approved application where Radiesse delivers natural, long-lasting improvement
  • Patients seeking longer-lasting structural results — those who want a filler that builds on itself over time rather than simply maintaining volume

What to Expect During Radiesse Treatment

1. Facial Assessment and Treatment Planning

Your provider evaluates your areas of concern, skin quality, and structural goals to determine whether Radiesse is the most appropriate product for your anatomy and desired outcome. Placement depth and volume are planned before treatment begins.

2. Topical Anesthetic Is Applied

A topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area before the filler is administered. Radiesse also contains lidocaine, which provides additional comfort throughout the procedure. Most patients find the experience very manageable.

3. Radiesse Is Placed With Precision

Radiesse is administered using carefully planned placement points designed to achieve the structural correction and volume goals identified during your assessment. Your provider assesses proportion and symmetry throughout the treatment.

4. Results Are Reviewed for Balance and Proportion

Following treatment, your provider evaluates the result from multiple angles to confirm that volume, contour, and symmetry look natural and proportional to your surrounding features before you leave.

After Treatment Overview

Most patients experience mild swelling and tenderness in the treated areas for several days. Occasional bruising is possible and typically resolves within one to two weeks. Patients are advised to avoid strenuous activity, alcohol, and direct heat for the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Most return to their normal activities the same day or the following day.

Treatments That Build on Radiesse Results

Radiesse integrates naturally into a comprehensive treatment plan at INJX by NAT. It is frequently combined with:

  • PDO Thread Lifts — structural lifting that complements Radiesse's collagen stimulation for a more complete rejuvenation result
  • Sculptra — another biostimulator that can be layered with Radiesse for deeper, longer-lasting collagen building across multiple facial zones
  • Neurotoxins — expression line softening that works alongside Radiesse's structural correction for a more comprehensive facial result
  • Morpheus8 — skin tightening and texture refinement that elevates skin quality around areas treated with Radiesse
  • Facial Balancing — a full-face planning approach that incorporates Radiesse as one component of a coordinated structural strategy

How Your Radiesse Results Develop

Initial results are visible immediately following treatment. Over the following weeks and months, the CaHA particles stimulate collagen and elastin production, gradually building additional firmness and structural support in the treated area. Most patients enjoy the results of Radiesse for 12 to 18 months or longer, with collagen-stimulating benefits extending the overall outcome beyond the filler itself.

Radiesse FAQ

How is Radiesse different from hyaluronic acid fillers like JUVÉDERM?

Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite filler that stimulates collagen production. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers add volume without biostimulation. Radiesse is firmer, longer-lasting, and cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase.

Can Radiesse be used in the lips?

Radiesse is not recommended for lip treatment due to its firmer consistency. Hyaluronic acid fillers are the preferred option for the lips at INJX by NAT.

How long does a Radiesse appointment take?

Most Radiesse appointments take between thirty and sixty minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated and the scope of the overall treatment plan discussed during your consultation.

Is Radiesse suitable for patients who have previously had HA filler?

Yes. Radiesse can be used in patients with existing HA filler in different areas or as a replacement when the HA filler has fully resorbed. Your provider will assess the most appropriate approach for your current anatomy.

Can Radiesse be reversed if needed?

Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase. This makes careful placement and conservative dosing especially important, which is why choosing an experienced provider matters significantly with this product.
